Why Do We Process Personal Data?

Samen Digitaal Veilig processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To enable participation in the SDV program;
  • To send newsletters and invitations.

For the purposes mentioned above, we may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Middle name (if applicable);
  • Last name;
  • Organization;
  • Email address;
  • Gender.
Sharing with Third Parties

The data you provide to us may be shared with third parties if this is necessary to achieve the purposes described above.

For example, we use third parties to:

  • Provide the online environment for the SDV program;
  • Manage financial administration;
  • Send newsletters and invitations.

We never share personal data with parties with whom we do not have a data processing agreement. With these parties (processors), we establish agreements to ensure the security of your personal data.

Additionally, we will not share your data with other parties unless legally required or permitted. For instance, in the case of a police investigation, we may be legally required to share data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you provide us with explicit written consent.

We do not transfer personal data to parties outside the European Union.

Retention Period

Samen Digitaal Veilig retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was provided or as required by law.
