NIS2: Safeguarding Cybersecurity
The European NIS2 directive enhances the security of critical infrastructure and essential services by imposing strict security and reporting requirements.
If you sell products or services to European companies that are subject to the NIS2 legislation, this means that as a supplier you must also comply.
Our platform helps you achieve NIS2 certification with ease. It provides step-by-step guidance, resources and support to ensure your business meets all the necessary cybersecurity requirements and stays compliant.
Key points of NIS2
- More stringent requirements: There are stricter requirements for the security of network and information systems. All NIS2 organisations are required to improve their cybersecurity.
- Supply chain obligations: According to NIS2 Article 21.2d, NIS2 entities are required to ensure the security of the supply chain in which they are involved. Based on the risk in the supply chain, they will need to impose cybersecurity measures on their suppliers. This large group of supplier companies will also need to operate securely and be certified.
- Monitoring and enforcement: Measures will be put in place to ensure compliance with the NIS2 Directive, including financial penalties for non-compliance.
